It has been on my heart since several months ago to add a devotional page to my blog and so here it is! I’m excited about this devotional series which will run for 52 weeks. I plan to post a devotional every Monday of 2014! Nothing formal or fancy shmancy, just me speaking from my heart…I do hope that you enjoy and that you find some inspiration from it! Week 1: A New Year, A New You

As we embark upon a new year, we can assuredly make a fresh start by forgetting about 2013 and by looking ahead to an awesome 2014! The number 14 within itself has biblical significance. As the number 7 from a biblical standpoint means spiritual perfection; the number 14 is said to be a double measure of spiritual perfection! How Awesome! For clarity, the word perfection simply means to be made whole, not lacking anything or to made complete. So let us focus on obtaining our double measure in 2014!
Thanks! I really like that this devotion is brief, but still content-filled! Sometimes I get sucked into the thought process that if I don’t have 20 or 30 minutes to devote to reading the Word, that I just have to wait until I have “more time”. I think it is just a plot that Satan uses………. : )
