As a family of 6, buying for 4 kids can be a big expense. Thankfully all of our needs are always met along with many of our wants. But in trying to be good stewards of our finances, we are constantly seeking ways to save. Today I’m sharing 3 Tips for Saving – Shopping for Kids Clothes.
3 Tips for Saving – Shopping for Kids Clothes
I’ve found these tips extremely helpful when buying clothes for our somewhat large family.
- Shop Larger Sizes. No surprise here. Buying a larger size for your kids allow room for them to grow. Especially with the little ones who out grow their clothes quickly. For us, with this tip, the kids have been able to wear many of the same clothing items for at least 2 seasons. For Example, for 2 winters or 2 summers.
- Shop Seasonally. Shop for Winter clothes when they go on sale in Spring. Shop Summer clothes when they go on sale in Fall. And so forth. This is a huge savings. And this goes along with shopping sales and clearance racks.
- Shop Rewards. I so love a ‘good’ rewards program. This is when a store gives you rewards each time you purchase items. It is usually discounts via coupons and/or special offers. The Children’s Place’s rewards program is love. We have saved so much by shopping kid’s clothes there.
