So be on the lookout on how I’m styling this again on my Instagram. Now read on to 3 Things to Start Your Day!
Now 3 Things to Start Your Day
- Pray. Begin each day with a word of prayer. Prayer is a way of communicating with God. It can be a quiet time that you share all of your anxieties that you feel the day may hold. During this time you can release those anxieties over to God so that you can begin the day with confidence that you do not have to go at it alone. And you can begin to thank him for that! “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” I Peter 5:7
- Meditate. Take time each morning to meditate on scripture. This could be your favorite verse or a verse that you need to boost your faith in such as healing. Meditating on that verse helps the Word become more real in your life and you will begin to see it and its use in practical ways in your day and in your life. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8
- Affirm. After you have prayed and meditated. Affirm those things each morning and throughout the day with positive self talk and affirmations! For example, “I can do all things through Christ!, I am an overcomer, I am Healed in Jesus name!” “Therefore, believers, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you [be sure that your behavior reflects and confirms your relationship with God]; for by doing these things [actively developing these virtues], you will never stumble [in your spiritual growth and will live a life that leads others away from sin];” 2 Peter 1:10
Whoo Hoo, these are sure to get your day off to a great start!
