Caring for Baby at Disney
Caring for Baby at Disney. Here’s Part II of the ‘How to Enjoy Baby at Disney’ series.
Caring for Baby. You will want to locate the Baby Care Center in each park that you plan to visit. Here you can find a place to nurse/feed, change baby, and just get out of the heat. The staff is super nice (I wouldn’t expect anything less from Disney) and the centers are clean and peaceful.
I visited the centers at Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Epcot this year. The center at Animal Kingdom had individual nursing rooms. Those at Magic Kingdom and Epcot were shared rooms but the lighting is dim so it’s still quite private.
In addition to taking care of baby’s needs. The baby care centers has enough space and areas for the rest of your family to wait while you’re taking care of baby. These ares include entertainment for the other kids like TV (of course Disney movies) and coloring sheets.
That was from my experience. Now per Disney World’s site the Baby Care Centers are described as such:
“Offering more than just privacy, Baby Care Centers are fully staffed and feature a host of helpful amenities for parents with infants and toddlers.
Open during regular park hours, each full-service facility is complimentary to use and
includes a:
- Private nursing room with rocking chairs
- Changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom
- Feeding area with highchairs
- Kitchen with microwave, oven and sink
- Main room with television, table, chairs and sofa
- On-site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications and clothing for purchase”
Isn’t this great! There is no reason to worry about caring for your baby at the parks. Stay tuned for the last of this series…all about Disney Rides/Attractions for Baby!
