I love blogging. The funny thing is, blogging was never on my radar. Never a part of my career goals. And to be honest, I kind of fell into it and now I could not imagine not doing what I do.

After college, I worked as an Engineer in the Pharmaceutical Industry for over a decade, with writing being one major aspect of my job. To write well, precisely, thoroughly, accurately. Writing, editing, and approving documents that at any moment, would need to be defended to the FDA (Food Drug Administration).

Fast forward, who knew I would use those tedious writing skills to begin my writing career by starting a Style blog at that time 10 years ago.

I’m here to help you!

The biggest key that I can pass along to aspiring bloggers is this: Learn all about your target audience and how to add value to them. And when this aligns with your own interests, it will make blogging enjoyable for your audience as well as for yourself. 

But remember, having a passion for something will not automatically make you a good blogger.

Again knowing how to add value to your audience/clients is key.

When I started my blog 10 years ago, it was with the idea that I was going to promote my online boutique. I did everything on my own. I just had to figure it out and I gritted it out.

But my biggest challenge was knowing WHAT the foundational pieces were that I absolutely needed to build a successful blog and how to position myself to make an impact in the lives of others as well as how to monetize. I’m so thankful to have overcome that and now, I want to help all of you!
