I’ve been feeling extra crafty lately and decided to make this brilliant red maxi skirt. Oh how I wish I had more time to sew…if you follow this blog, you may already know that my Mom has been a Seamstress all her life and I learned how to sew from watching her for years and years. Skirts are extremely easy to make though so for this skirt I used a Red Italian Suiting fabric from my favorite fabric store MOOD (shopping there makes me feel like a designer)! I didn’t use a pattern. I just measured the length of the skirt by simply holding the fabric to my waist with the fold on the side. I sewed the open side, folded the top down and inserted an elastic band and hemmed the bottom…and whoop there it is!
