Summer is here and this floral dress is my welcome song! Curvy women are typically advised to steer clear of prints especially large or floral prints and instead advised to wear solid color pieces, as this will give a slimmer appearance. I am a proponent that curvy women such as myself can wear whatever we want…because it’s all about the cut and fit of the garments.

I found this cute Jessica Simpson dress via Marshalls for $20! It features pretty ruffles surrounding a zipper v-neck and it has pockets!

      Thanks so much! I am really the same about florals and a lot of color but I took a chance with this dress and I was surprised at how much I liked it! And thanks with regards to my hair…it’s definitely an adventure ;)!
