Meaning-making amid loss is sometimes the last thing we want to hear about let alone actually do. Yet, making meaning is a way some grievers find as a way to cope, integrate their grief, and a way to honor their loved one while making a difference in the lives of others.
In my recent conversation with Sara Schneider on the Can You Just Sit With Me? Podcast we discuss meaning-making amid loss and how God works in our pain to bring about something beautiful. She is the author of One Mother of a Miracle and founder of the Bowen Walker FoundationSara Schneider. Her story was a powerful reminder that our journeys through grief can become pathways of healing and service for others. In the end, it’s a choice—a hard one, to be sure, but one that gives us hope and renews our faith.
If you’re facing a season of loss, may you hold on to the truth that joy does come in the morning. Your story is not over, and God is working even in your pain to bring something beautiful. Whether through sharing your story, supporting others, or simply holding on to faith in the darkness, you, too, can find hope and healing through loss.
