Over the past couple of weeks, I have been wearing my no stress tresses as my protective style and I must say that it has been a bit warm with the hot weather we are having! So, I was in need of alternatives…
Don’t get me wrong, I really do love my hairΒ (most days) and after chatting with some of my family who are also “natural”, I decided to challenge myself to create a few protective style on my natural hair! I saw a video on YouTube of a style called the Chunky Two-Strand Flat Twist Updo! I thought that it was beautiful so IΒ tailored the two-strand flat twist style to my naturally curly hair texture versus the straight/blown out hair seen in the video.
This style will keep me cool and cute this week! What do you think?
