Pleated Floral Fall Style

What a beautiful weekend we had, sunny with a light breeze! This is a thankful change from the previous weekend with Hurricane Matthew. My prayers are still with family and friends that have lost their homes or are now displaced from their homes and prayers to all of those that have been affected. It seems like hurricane season brings in our Fall weather here in the Carolinas. So with this Fall weather, I’m sharing a Pleated Floral Fall Style.

In times past, pleats were a total no-no for fuller figure and/or heavier hip ladies like myself…BUT I’ve found IF you wear pleats high on your waist, the emphasis is more on your waist than your hips.

  2. Great outfit! I especially like the addition of the vest! As a ‘hippy’ girl I also do the higher waist skirts and LOVE them.

  5. This is such a gorgeous skirt! I never think of pairing a skirt with a long sleeve shirt, but it looks so good.

      Thanks so much! And I know right…I’ve been doing that for a while now, pairing skirts with a tee whether long sleeve or short sleeve, gives a more casual look…
