Project 52 Photography Challenge. With the new year, comes all types of yearly, monthly, or even daily fun challenges that you can participate in. Last year, I started the 365 Art Journaling Challenge…I didn’t get very far, maybe to Day 28 or so. For me and my family life, doing anything everyday is challenging, period.

So this year, I came across a photography challenge that only requires 1 photo per week, hosted by Everyday Eye Candy, called Project 52. I’m super excited about this because it’s photography, another artsy thing that I’m passionate about and this challenge is less intimating than a 365 day challenge.

For Week 1, which starts this week, the prompt is “Who Are You”. My 1st thought was to do a self-portrait but after some thought, I didn’t feel that a self-portrait would do justice alone of who I am. Using my trusty scrabble pieces, I came up with this shot; I am a Child of God, a Mom, a Wife, a Sister, a Daughter, a Friend…that’s who I am.
