Protective styles for natural hair is key to keeping the hair healthy! So, I have been experimenting with various protective styles and started sharing my protective styles last week. See my Protective Style #1 here. You can find a “how to” video here similar to this style. This style simply consists of 3 ponytails, each with 2 two strand twists that are then pinned, shaping the mohawk.

    I used to make this hairstyle when my hair was bigger. Now that I cut is not to simple, but its very easy to make in any kind of hair. I really love this hairstyle.
    And the color of the front of your hair is very cool…I loved!
    Is a good option to transitioners 😉

      Thanks so much! Yes, this style was super easy and great for transitioners. It worked well because it was very humid in the city we were in.

  3. This style is super cute! I may try it out. My hair is still a little short so I’m not sure that I an pull it up like that but I’m sure I could make it work. I’m also going to go check out the blog hop.
