Realistic Natural Hair Goals {#Hairgoals}
Natural Hair is beautiful period { . }…every Type! Whether 1A or 4C… so I get a bit frustrated when I see the hashtag #hairgoals posted to pics of what is being considered the “good hair” of natural hair. Why is this happening?
Do not make the mistake in comparing your hair nor yourself to other women on social media. One must keep in mind that some Naturals with backgrounds that are not of total African decent, meaning of a mixed racial background; their hair texture and type will also be a mixture. Thus, creating what other naturals are considering a better hair texture…more of a loose curl pattern, that of the 2B-3B type. Plus who really came up with this chart anyway…basically don’t get hung up on a hair type. I don’t!

Bottom line, every hair type is beautiful…Work the Hair that God gave you! I wish I could invent a chip that could be implanted into us as women’s brain that corrected this glitch. It would tell us all that we are perfect just the way we are!
Now there is nothing wrong with looking at others for inspiration like a cute hair style, but I encourage you to at least seek out a Naturalista that has a similar hair type as yours, giving you realistic natural hair goals. What’s your thoughts on the topic?
