Tusker House Restaurant Animal Kingdom WDW

Tusker House Restaurant. We went to the Tusker House Restaurant located at Animal Kingdom for dinner at our recent trip to Disney. This restaurant features character dining. We met Safari Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy there along with great food.

Like the other charactering dining that we have experienced at Disney (Crystal Palace, Cinderella Royal Table), this restaurant has great food and excellent service. Character interaction with our family was great. We had plenty of time with each character to get pics and autographs. It was our first time meeting Safari Mickey and friends as it was our 1st visit to Animal Kingdom! We had missed Donald when he made his rounds to the tables but we mentioned it to our server and he came back to spend time with us. The character time was super special, simply because it was our baby girl’s 1st time meeting Mickey. Of course, she won’t remember it but we have pictures to prove it!

The food was Africa inspired flare and flavors buffet style. We enjoyed curry chicken, salmon, carved meats, etc… It was perfect for picky eaters…a kid’s buffet with grapes, cheese squares, apple sauce, mini corn dogs; our youngest son enjoyed big time.
