Week 3: What It Means To Seek First
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This is such a well-known/familiar verse but with that said, we tend to lose some of its full meaning or maybe we really never got the practicality of this verse or we are more concerned with the latter portion of the verse…and all the THINGS will be added.
I believe that it means, above everything else, seek what pleases God, seek his way of doing things, seek his will in each situation, seek his plan over your own, daily…this is what it means to seek Him first!
