School is out and here are 3 Low Cost Summer Activities to do with your kids.

1. Pool/Beach – Of course, it’s #1 on the list. Day trips to the beach or time at the pool is a must during Summer break. It’s Free and it’s fun. Temperatures are soaring right now, so be sure to be safe and use lots of sunscreen!

2. Science and History Museum – Free. We love visiting the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. There is so much to do and see for the kids with 4 floors of exploration. And there is always an Exhibit going on or viewing of 3D movies…they have a cover charge. Low Cost Summer Low Cost Summer Low Cost Summer

We also visit the North Carolina Museum of History. We haven’t explored this one as much as the Natural Science Museum, so we will be checking this one out again this summer. They have family programs which again are free. They have exhibits as well which have an associated cover charge.Low Cost Summer

3. Interactive Museum – $5 per person and children under 1 years old free. We love, love, love Marbles Kids Museum…which provides hours and hours of play for the kids! This place provides classes, programs and camps during the summer at a cost. But for $5, you just can’t beat the fun the kids have!
