This is another Natural Hair Post and Product Review, go #TeamNatural!

So, I removed the weave install {here} and I washed my hair using the Yuzu Natural Shampoo Bar made by Lia Naturals that I received in my August CurlKit! I’ve been wanting to try this product since it arrived last month. Because I was coming from a sew-in, I pre-poo’d my hair before using the shampoo bar. As instructed by the label, I made sure that I applied the bar to damp hair and worked it into sections. I was Sooo surprised at how much the bar lathered! I had to take a picture just to show you, lol! I really like this product because it’s all natural (of course) and my hair felt clean and free of product residues. I do recommend that you too, give it a try! I am also thinking that the shampoo bar would make for easy packing for a trip, versus taking a bottle of shampoo that can leak out…just saying!

Now on to the styling. I decided to try a twistout achieved by parting/dividing my hair into sections and flat twisting the sectioned hair, using only water in a spray bottle (to lightly dampen it) and a dab of Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie on each section. I then rolled my ends with rods. After twisting and rolling each section, I covered my hair with a satin bonnet until the next morning. I carefully took out the rods and twists to achieve this look!
