This is not a post about clipping coupons but oh yes it’s about clipping hair! One thing that coupons and home haircuts have in common, is savings! And in today’s economy, finding ways to save money and cut costs is a must!
My hubby gets his hair cut weekly and our boys get theirs cut biweekly at the barber at a total cost of $650/year, not including tips. So, I am acting as the biweekly home barber for my hubby! No worries though…I used to cut all the guys hair in my family: my dad and my nephews. They can all attest (I hope) that I did a decent job. Cutting my hubby’s hair every other week adds up to a savings of $195/year and he honestly loves his hair cut!!!
What ways are you finding to save money and cut costs?
Hubby hasn’t been to a barber in over 25 years and he’s been cutting the boys hair since birth, he even hooks me up – definitely saving tons of money – thanks for sharing. Hope you become the permanent barber to save the fam money and use it for something fun to do together!
