We recently had a guest speaker at my church named Festus Nsoha from the Czech Republic. He is such a dynamic speaker and you can listen to his messages here on MP3 titled The Tree of Life, Parts 1-3. One thing that stood out to me during his message was when he said, “America is So Noisey!”. He was making a point that our lives are FILLED to the brim with “Things” to do, places to go and people to see that we do not take the time to spend with God…quietly just to be with him.
It reminded me of a song that’s been in my head for a few weeks now by Israel and New Breed called To Worship You I Live (Away).

That’s an interesting take. And it’s one that I’ve been guilty of. Within the last few months, I have decided to take it easy and more slowly. I stayed busy for different reasons, especially to keep my mind off of things when I should have been praying for the strength to get through it instead of avoiding it.
We all get there to some degree (too busy and not focusing on the right things). I believe that it sometimes takes others to remind us that a God focus is most important and once we get that, all the other things will come together as they should. But I’m thankful for God’s grace during those times. I pray that things are going well for you!
