…and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
…the Beautiful names of the baby Jesus, the baby that was born to take away the sins of the world. During this season, we can reflect on these names…
Jesus is Wonderful! Jesus makes everything beautiful (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Jesus is our Counselor! What does it mean to be a counselor? Gives advice and guidance…how awesome to have the advice and guidance from the one who is all-knowing (Psalms 33:13-15).
Jesus is The Everlasting Father…everlasting means never ending; therefore, we never have to be afraid that God will not be there not meet us where and when we need him. Him who was, is and is to come (Revelations 1:8).
Jesus is the Prince of Peace…in a world of so much chaos and unrest…racial tensions, wars, and terrorist attacks, etc…we need the Prince of Peace… He will keep him in perfect peace, those whose mind are stayed on him (Isaiah 26:3). This such an awesome promise of God!
God’s word is so true that he places a guarantee on it… he’s says to try him (Micah 3:10), test the word of God to see if it be true! You will find that it is true. Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor, The Everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace!
