What’s a Wash-N-Go anyway? Well it’s definitely not a Wash and Go in the literal sense, meaning you just wash your hair and that’s it…without putting any hair product on it! Believe me, I tried that and it was a dry disaster afro mess!

A great Wash-N-Go includes washing and conditioning your hair. Then it includes applying products that will add additional moisture and that will seal in the moisture. So once it dries, the hair is still left with beautiful shine and sheen. Here’s last week’s style…

For my wash and go, I used Giovanni Eco Chic Hair Care Shampoo and Conditioner, as recommended by a Natural Hair Care Stylist that I go to for my braided updo’s. I then used Cantu Twist and Lock Gel for a bit of added moisture and hold and Shea Butter for sealing in the moisture and shine.

I was able to keep this style all week…nearing the end of the week, I refreshed the look by spritzing my hair with water in a spray bottle! At night, I pulled the hair back in a loose ponytail and spritzed it very lightly in the mornings.

Wash-N-Go’s will definitely stay in my hairstyle rotation! Tip for the week…Don’t be afraid to use product on your hair…your hair will love it!

Thanks so much…it’s funny that after 4 years without a relaxer; I’m still getting used to it. I love it though!
