So, as you know, I have been dabbling into some photography and had my 1st Maternity Photo Session a few months ago. Well, a little over a couple of weeks ago I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph a beautiful family for my 1st Family Shoot.

Meet the Tracy’s!

FamilyShootcopyright3As it was my 1st family session; I did so much research online about family photography. The thing about tips; you don’t really know how helpful they are until you actually use them. One tip that I used and is probably a “DUH” to all professional photographers is shooting in RAW mode for easy editing. Let me tell you it made a huge difference. Additionally, the photography course that I’m taking has been most helpful in teaching me how to better work within the manual mode and now that’s the only mode I use for shooting. For this shoot, I found myself making a lot of adjustments to the Aperture and ISO each time we set up for shooting because the sky would go from cloudy to sunshine! Again, I know this will get better with time and practice.

This photo session was shot at two (2) locations (a local park and flower garden) just for versatility in background. The session lasted about 4 hours, with one (1) wardrobe change by the kids. I took a variety of shots both with all the family and of the kids individually. It turned out to be a beautiful day and I had so much fun with this beautiful family! The session was filled with love, fun, and laughter…can’t you see the love!
FamilyShootcopyrightAs always, I love hearing from you, especially my photographer professionals out there. Let me know what you think and any tips you may have…

Also, if you are in the Raleigh NC and surrounding areas, and would like to schedule a photo session, contact me at lovelyyoublog1@gmail.com  Thanks bunches!
