The color pink in and of itself is so pretty and girlie and the Full/Midi Style skirt is so On Trend! So when I was looking for a great full skirt, as oppose to choosing my 1st choice of black; I chose pink…for the pretty/girlie feel and it also gave a 50s, 60s look, especially with my Sweet curly hair style.

For this blog post, I ventured out and took the photos above by myself using a tripod and the self timer on my camera. My hubby usually takes my photos for me (thanks hubby) but I wanted to give it a try! Taking self photos was soooo fun and also a mini-workout, running back and forth from the camera. I used some awesome tips that I found at a pretty cool blog {Delightfully Tacky} and the photos turned out great!

  2. You look amazing! I’m not a huge fan of pink but that skirt is awesome. Very classic look! And great job with the photography…I must say your hubs does an amazing job though!!!

      Thanks Nicole!!! The photography was fun and I’m able to practice either way…I set the manual settings and take practice shots of the hubs prior to him shooting me so that he can just point and shoot.

  7. You did an awesome job taking your own photos. If you plan to do this more often then I would recommend getting a remote. I just make my hubs do it to save me the hassle. As far as the clothes go, I’m so in love with your vibrant pink midi skirt.
