The Roger Love Singing Academy Review

I love to sing and have been doing so since well before I was 7 years old. I use that marker because I remember that I wasn’t allowed to sing in the church choir until I was 7 years old and I remember being so anxious and ready to sing with my sisters who were already in the choir. After 20 plus years later, I’m still singing. I am one of the Worship Leaders and Lead Vocalist at my church and one of the things that I am committed to doing is to perfect the gift that God has given me, as much as humanly possible. So, I was very excited to come across this opportunity to train with the Roger Love Singing Academy!

Roger Love’s Singing Academy has assisted many Stars with finding their voice whether for singing or speaking. Roger is the voice coach for the mega-hit TV show GLEE and has coached a very impressive array of celebrities from professional speakers such as Tyra Banks and Suze Orman to singer and singing groups such as Selena Gomez, Maroon 5, and En Vogue, and the list really goes on!

I really wanted to take this opportunity to gain new techniques to push my voice to another level. All that was needed for the course was my pc and the time it took listening and practicing the techniques. The 5 Week Online Course contained 2-4 lessons per week with each week focusing on but not limited to the following: Diaphramic Breathing, Chest, Middle and Head Voice and Vibrato. Extra inclusions were an Exercise Studio for Practicing (Breathing/Warmups) and Love Notes (Guided Practice of popular songs).

Since completing the lessons, I feel that I have an even better understanding of what I need to focus on, vocally, when I’m learning a new song for worship and how to master each song…such as when to use middle voice vs chest voice. I have done this in the past, just by listening to the original artist singing the song and trying to mimic what they are doing. Now, I am able to recognize and apply what I have learned to a particular song (ie. that part of the song has vibrato). it is already making a different with my voice…So, if you are looking to step up your singing skills, I definitely recommend Roger Love’s Singing Academy.
