Visiting Hollywood! Where to go, What to see?

Visiting Hollywood! Where to go, What to see? Well, I recently had the opportunity to visit…thanks to my gracious tour guide, my sorority sister Janae that happens to live in the area! I had a wonderful time, first off seeing the infamous Hollywood sign and walking the “Hollywood Walk of Fame“, the world’s most famous sidewalk and then visiting the TCL Chinese Theatre where numerous celebs left their hands and/or foot prints behind. “It was once stated that “to visit Los Angeles and not see the Chinese is like visiting China and not seeing the Great Wall. “Grauman’s Opulent, awe-inspiring presence and history has been a cornerstone of Hollywood for over 75 years” {source}. So I am so happy that I got the chance to stop by! Some of my favorites: Marilyn Monroe…my hands fit hers perfectly! I loved seeing Billy Graham’s Star of the Walk of Fame!

I also got the opportunity to visit the Dolby Theatre, which hosted the Academy Awards – the Oscars this year. Interestingly enough the theatre is located in a mall. I can only imagine the scene when its Oscars time…I guess the mall is shutdown. The area was rather busy and obviously a tourist spot. They getting ready for the premier of the Inside Out movie and Jimmie Kimmel Live’s studio was also located there.

Before leaving the mall, we enjoyed one of my favorite chain restaurants Johnny Rockets…where there is always good burgers, fries and a smile! Hollywood

Visiting Hollywood soon or have you visited in the past? What sites did you see?
