Warner Brothers Studio Tour Hollywood
I took a Warner Brothers Studio Tour while I was in Hollywood and it was so fun!
The tour included visiting the sets of Ellen and 2 Broke Girls…however, no filming or pictures were allowed so those are not included in this post.
Any Pretty Little Liars fans? The show was being shot during the tour so our tour guide steered us away from that area but how cool is that. I did get a pic on the steps of Hollis College used in the sitcom….
To be honest, I took so many photos during the tour, that I can’t even remember what building was used in what film or sitcom. So I’m only including the ones I remember, lol! And those were, the park from Friends episode, Pretty Little Liars college and the outside of the apartment used in the Annie film!
Touring the prop room was interesting, like finding out what some of the props where made out of, such that actors wouldn’t get injured. For instance, if they were hit with a 2×4 piece of wood or bat, they wouldn’t get hurt and we saw a fake puddle of blood that is used on sets. One thing that was super interesting is that anyone, meaning like you and me, can rent items from this place…kinda cool!
Below are the chairs used in The Matrix, the giraffe legs from The Hangover III and the helmet that Brad Pitt wore in Troy (loved this movie).
Other points of interest during the tour was, of course, the history of the Warner Brothers themselves, which began with 4 brothers.
Then there was the 75 Years of Batman and Batman movie cars exhibits.
And the Harry Potter exhibit. I was sorted by the Sorting Hat as a Gryffindor. The Gryffindor house emphasises the traits of courage as well as “daring, nerve, and chivalry,” and thus its members are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness. I’m not a Harry Potter fan but if you visit, you gotta do it right!
My ONLY disappointment was that the couch from Friends was not there but will be back in August. I was so looking forward to seeing it and taking pics on it where Rachel and the gang sat! That was the main reason that my friend chose this tour for me because I’m a Friends fan. I did; however, get to see outside of the studio of Friends and the place where one of the scenes took place when Rachel and Phoebe were running in the park…one of the most hilarious episodes ever. Most people think it really was filmed in Central Park but Nope, right at Warner Brothers Studio…Warner Brothers; New York Park, Burbank!
At the end of the tour, I said good-bye to Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny! It was a great tour indeed!
Have you experienced any Studio Tours? What was your experience like?
