Your Blog Your Space

Your Blog Your SpaceA while back, I was fretting over how I could streamline my blog in order to have a more narrowed theme, to have more focus. I felt like my blog was all over the place.  I think I felt like I needed more structure to what I posted in order to get more sponsors and partnerships.

This year, I haven’t really thought too much about it and have really been writing what I feel like writing.  In the end, it is my Blog and it is my Space…and I’m sharing life through this lifestyle blog (I didn’t know what it was before, I guess)! The awesome part about it is, I STILL get sponsorships and collaborations. The common theme that each brand that contacts me says is that they really like the look and feel of my blog space, the quality of the images and the quality of the content. Notice how they didn’t say, your blog has a common theme!

I’m really excited to get to this point! With the anticipation of our 4th addition to our family and our 1st year of homeschooling; my blog space will be one of Engineer/Entrepreneur turned Homeschooler/Part-time Entrepreneur with a hint of style…ha, something like that! Whoa…how different these two worlds are…So I’ll be revamping my tagline at least to reflect that much, maybe!

In any event, quality appearance of your space, your images and contents speaks louder than having a single niche and not having any of those 3 things. Ultimately it is your blog, your space…Enjoy It!

  1. I’m in the same boat. I’m really trying to get out there more so that I can work with more brands. I like what my blog is and I’ve always had this stance. This is my space that I’m sharing with everyone else. There’s so much information about how to make your Pinterest pop, or IG themes, or FB engagement…and it’s all great information…but these things are all my spaces. I should be able to approach them naturally. I feel this is the more genuine me and this is the me people should get to know and interact with. I’m sure in due time, things will fall into place (fingers crossed). I’m excited about your transitions and will be watching along the way!!
