Choosing a Beauty Box. I’ve been in somewhat of a makeup/beauty rut and considering subscribing to a Beauty Box so that I can try out new products. After a little bit of research, I wanted to share with you what I found and which Box I decided to go with and why! This list is not all-inclusive but are some of the most top ranking beauty boxes from my research. So here are the deets…
I narrowed down my options to either Birchbox or Ipsy based solely on price alone. The Walmart Beauty Box was the least expensive but it only shipped seasonally and the amount of samples was not disclosed, so I didn’t feel that I would be getting enough goodies to checkout.
Birchbox and Ipsy are very comparable as you see above and additionally, both are personalized and have a rewards points system that can be used to purchase full size products. So I ended up choosing the Ipsy Beauty Box, because you can accumulate reward points quicker and you also receive a cutesy Glam Bag each month! I can think of several ways that I can use that little Glam Bag!

I have done Birchbox and Ipsy (at different times). I liked both of them at first but sadly I began to get repeats of items and even when I updated my profile they continued to send items I said I didn’t want. I enjoyed both of them for about a year. I miss getting something monthly and do sometimes wonder about renewing.

Aweosme comparison and I went with ipsy honestly its been the best for a while in my opinion a bag plus goodies even though I love the boxes that come with the birch. Enjoy !!! Laci @ Sequinsinthesouth.com

I love Birchbox! I’ve been using them for almost two years now. One of my favorite things about them is for every sample in your Birchbox that you review, you get 10 points. Once you get to 100 points you get $10 to spend on anything in the store. I will wait to build mine up, and get some really nice products for free! Their samples are always great too!
Wowsers, for almost 2 years, that’s great! I did like the incentive of the points system with Birchbox. I may try it in the future, thanks for sharing!
I used to have Birchbox but most of the time wasn’t happy with the samples so I changed to Ipsy and I loved it even more that BB, so I stuck with Ipsy.
