Week 23: Fight or Flight {Previous Weeks}
Matthew 25:23 (AMP)
His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.
Fleeing difficult situations is easy; staying and sticking it out is one of the toughest things that you will have to do in life! God wants us to be faithful in everything that we do. He wants us to release the “flight” mentality which says, when the going gets tough…I’m getting the heck out of here! God wants us to stick it out, fight it out, talk it out, walk it out; whatever it takes to stay in the game. By staying, we are saying that we trust God to be with us in any situation, circumstance or tough season that we are going through. We show God that if we can handle the tough situation; he can trust us with anything!
Be Encouraged. You must trust that we are already Victorious because God’s Word tells you that you are! 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NIV) “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
