The Summer heat, rain and humidity can bring on challenges of its own for natural hair beauties…and cause us to just flat-out give up on doing anything creative with our hair! So since Summer is rolling around next week; I’ve decided to challenge myself to showcase some natural hair styles each week throughout the summer! I participated in this “No Heat December” challenge last year and must admit that I had noticeable growth. So I am shooting for styles with little to no heat.My natural hair style repertoire consists of two-strand twist updos, flat twists, braided styles, twist-outs and weave installs. I must expand this…I’ve tried Bantu knots but failed horribly! So this Challenge will indeed be a Challenge for me! I would SO love it; if you’d join me in this “Summer Hair Challenge”!
