Midi Skirting Bump Update

Midi Skirting. Nothing says love, like a stretch knit midi skirt. This is a non maternity skirt and it is Soooo comfy worn under my belly! I paired it with a striped maternity shirt, leather blazer, skinny belt and Fall red suede booties for this week’s look. It’s so ironic that many maternity shirts are horizontally striped…doesn’t that suppose to add the appearance of weight? Oh well, I guess they figure, stripes on any baby bump is cute! I must say that I am enjoying the prego life this time around much better…not having a stressful corporate job has definitely been key! So here’s to another week!

Bump Update. We’re at 29 weeks! And I was just thinking how cool it is to have this blog space during pregnancy, as it sort of documents the process! So one fact about me that happens late in pregnancy, I tend to balloon…meaning my face and everything else seemingly blows up and out lol. It was funny because a lady at church that I don’t know, came to me and said are you expecting…I said yes…then she said oh, ok, I could tell it by your face! I said yes, my face is widening! That’s what happens when you’ve gained almost 30 lbs though! It didn’t offend me, it was just funny!

So whats going on with baby at 29 weeks (via):

  • Baby weighs nearly 3lbs
  • About 17 inches
  • Adding more fat

  1. You look adorable! I wish I’d looked half as chic as you when I was pregnant. 🙂 I absolutely ballooned when I was expecting my daughter–my ankles, my feet, my hands, and my face were all five times bigger than they usually are!

  2. This outfit is so cute! The skirt is beyond flattering
