My family and I love watching animated shows and movies at our home. So, it was a pleasure to review Missy Mila Twisted Tales DVD from the Kid’s Collection by Organa Kids.
Missy Mila is a family friendly, animated series about an 8 year old girl with a huge imagination! I thought to let my daughter view this series as she will be turning eight this year (time is flying by)! She really enjoyed the series, we watched 13 episodes back to back (approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes). Her and her 2 year old brother seemed very interested in each episode, which was great! Afterward I asked my daughter what she thought of it and she said that it was entertaining. I thought, what does that mean coming from a 7yr old; but she said that it was funny!
From a parents perspective, I thought the same. It was very comical! One of the features of the Missy Mila dvd is that the character has close up screen shots where the story pauses and she (Missy Mila) throws a twist in the story that is being told. She then gets the audience involved in the story. This definitely kept us, the audience engaged.
