Week 12: Never Alone {Previous Weeks}

Matthew 28:20
And lo, I am with you always even until the end of the world

There are so many situations that can occur in life that can leave us feeling alone: the loss of a loved one, a break up, broken marriage, being an only child, or simply going through a season in life where you feel like no one understands you, your dreams, your aspirations, your goals, etc.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says that God will never leave us nor forsake us and again, Matthew 28:20 says that he is with us always. There is so much comfort in these words but we must apply them as not only mere words but as truth. We take these words as the truth, by applying our Faith! The bible says without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone that comes to him must first believe that he is God and that he is a rewarded to those who diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). We must believe that he is with us and for us! Even though we cannot see him; we must believe that:

-He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24)
-A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5)
-Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord cares for me (Psalm 27:10)

So anytime that you feel alone, you can take comfort in knowing that God is always with you. Trust, rely and depend on him.

  1. I love this. Because just like in footprints of the sand shows us, God never ;leaves our side. We may not see him nor feel him but he’s here. He’s here to carry us through the storms even when we don’t realize it.
