MHWesley

Meet Margaret H. Wesley, a mother of 3, North Carolina State University graduate with a degree in Business, Financial Advisor/Coach, now published author and my best friend!

In December 2009, her life took an unexpected turn when she suddenly lost her ability to walk. It was during that 8-month period that she penned her first book, The Job Experience: My Personal Testimony of How to Face Battles and Win. She is now a full-time writer and inspirational speaker and She truly Inspires Me!!

I wanted to share this interview with you so that you too can be inspired!

What inspired you to become an author?

It was never a dream of mine to become an author, but I went through a debilitating illness in 2009 which left me confined to a wheelchair and I began journaling. That journal turned into my first book, The Job Experience and through my struggle I discovered my purpose as an author and I have been writing ever since.

With the release of your fourth book, which book would you say was the least/most challenging to write and why?
If I were to be honest, none of my books were challenging to write because my work as an author and writer is a gift from God. I don’t stress myself out with deadlines and plots, I just let God lead me and the writing just flows. The Job Experience was the most intense because I wrote it in the midst of what I was going through and I spent a lot of time in tears while I was writing, not because of sadness but because I knew God had a plan for me even in the midst of what I was going through. My third book, I’m Saved..Now What? was exciting to write because I knew that people would not only be intrigued by the title but the main character’s story is so relatable that I was convinced that readers would be able to see themselves in her story.

As an Inspirational Speaker, what do you want your audience to leave with?
I want all those that I come in contact with to know and understand that the adversity that comes in life is not a punishment from God but can be the very catalyst that propels them into their divine destiny. I share my testimony wherever I go to let others know that God still works miracles and all things are possible with God.

  1. Thank you…God has a purpose for us all, I was struggling with distinguishing what is a personal desire and what is God’s plan for my life. I realized that God’s plan is the one that is instilled in you, and it won’t go away, no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem. Listening to Margaret’s story has inspired me to move forward in faith and allow God to do what he wants with me spiritually, as well as in my career.
