The Blogger Resume

The Blogger Resume. Creating a Media Kit has been on my “to do” list forever and a day! I would start on one then ditch it because it seemed like too much to do. The fact of the matter is, every serious blogger should have one.

You can use it to send a quick response to a brand that is inquiring about your blog or simply use it to pitch to a brand or organization that you would like to partner with. I think another one of my hesitations was being a smaller blog, seeing my stats all on one page, I could see how small I was but looking at the glass half FULL, now I look at my stats and I see my potential.

I’m excited that I finally completed my Media Kit which to me is sort of like a Blogger Resume! Since it is my first I am almost positive that I will continue to tweak it but I’m happy with it for now!

The Blogger Resume

I used this super helpful post which posted 20 Examples of Media Kits and used Canva to execute my vision of how I wanted mine to look. The main aspects I felt I needed were:

  • Who am I and What I blog about
  • Influence – Audience reach
  • Blog Analytics.
  • Who my audience consists of
  • Features
  • Collaborations
  • Communities
  • Contact Information
  • I wanted to limit it to 1 page

Do you have a Media Kit? If so what aspects did you include? If not, what aspects will you include?
