The Boathouse Review

We’ve been to Orlando for our family vacation for the past several years. Each year, we try to experience new things. I had been eyeing The Boathouse for a while, when we spend time in Disney Springs, while taking a break from the parks. I had read great reviews already. And since my Hubs and I were there without the kids 🙂 last month, we decided to check it out.

We made reservations ahead of time on open table…that app comes in handy. If you haven’t visited Disney around Christmas, that area can be busy. Though it was nothing new for us, as we have always visited during the peak season in July, we knew that making reservations would be the smartest thing to do.

I loved the atmosphere. The brightness and being located ‘on the water’ gave it a beach feel. So, of course, we asked for a window seat. We had the sweetest and most helpful waitress team. Very friendly, fun personality and great service.

The menu is created daily and has a variety of surf and turf options.

The Hubs and I shared a ‘Firecracker Shrimp’ appetizer which was spicey…hence the name. But yummy. And since I was going for the full surf and turf feel, I ordered Filet sliders. Y’all, they were soooo good, so tender and so flavorful.

The photo does not do it justice. And we planned to save dessert for exploring other places at Disney Springs. But our sweet waitress, gave me a birthday cupcake surprise!
